Typically, complete dentures use a pink, resin base with artificial denture teeth chosen to match your gender, hair color, and age. After all, we want your dentures to look real!
Dr. Ken Torres and Dr. Allea Paras Torres meticulously design dentures to fit great and feel comfortable. Complete lower dentures use your bony ridge to stay in place and your upper denture relies on suction and your jawbone to stay in place.
If you want dentures right after your extractions, we can create immediate dentures, too.
It is still important to keep regular dental appointments at our office so our dentists can check your denture fit, look for and address any sore spots, and perform an oral cancer screening.
Partial Dentures to Complete Your Smile
If you still have some of your natural teeth, we can use them to hold a partial denture in place. We design a partial denture using a resin, metal, or flexible base with artificial denture teeth that we choose to match your existing smile so your smile is uniform.
Caring for your remaining teeth is an essential part of the success of partial denture use because your partial dentures rely on your natural teeth for stability. Brushing, flossing, and regular dental exams and cleanings should be a regular routine!
